Connect an existing chat room#

Use this method when customers discuss stock, price, or delivery in an existing KakaoTalk room before ordering.

1. Invite the StackCube account#

Search for KakaoTalk ID stackcube and invite it to the room where orders arrive. You may need to add it as a friend first.

2. Create a connection code#

  1. Open Channels → KakaoTalk room authentication.
  2. Create a connection code.
  3. Copy the displayed message.

The message looks like this. The code below is an example; issue and copy the actual message from Channels.

The first part is the connection command. The final four characters are a one-time code that identifies the room.

3. Connect the room#

  1. Any participant in the room can send the message copied from Channels.
  2. Wait for the Channels page to show that the room is connected.

The code is valid for one use within 24 hours.

4. Check the first order#

  1. Send a new test order in the connected room.
  2. Find the source in Channels → Intake history.
  3. Search for the created order in Order management.
  4. Check the customer, items, and quantities.

Messages sent before the room was connected are not imported automatically. Add an older order from Order management → Add manually → KakaoTalk.

Orders from unregistered participants are still received without an assigned customer. Review the order, then select an existing customer or create a new one.
